The set for "Where's Waldo" is made up of three tripdyks. Each side of each unit has panels that open out, making quite a few different configurations, two of which are shown below. The units are aluminum pipe with speed rail connections on castored bases. The panels open by means of an extremely clever mechanism that allows an actor to do it with one hand and easily locks in the closed or open position perfectly every time. (Gee, who do you think engineered that?)
